Terms & Conditions
Please read the terms that apply to the class you are booking. Last updated January 2026.

By booking or attending classes at Embrace Wellness Studio (“the Studio”), you agree to the following terms.
Manchester: Embrace Studio Limited, company no. 15766216 · Stockport: Embrace Studio (Stockport) Limited, company no. 16767196. Both registered in England & Wales.
1. Bookings
- All classes must be booked in advance via the Studio’s booking system.
- No walk-ins are permitted.
- Bookings are personal and cannot be transferred.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Classes must be cancelled at least 12 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Late cancellations or no-shows will result in loss of the class credit and a £10 late cancellation / no-show fee.
3. Waitlist Policy
- If you are added to a class from the waitlist, standard cancellation rules apply.
- It is your responsibility to manage your booking once added.
4. Payment Authorisation
By booking a class, you authorise the Studio to:
- Charge any applicable late cancellation or no-show fees
- Deduct class credits where applicable
All charges will be applied to the payment method on file.
5. No Exceptions Policy
Late cancellation and no-show fees apply in all circumstances, including:
- Illness or injury
- Travel delays
- Work or personal commitments
The Studio may, at its sole discretion, make exceptions. This does not set a precedent.
6. Attendance & Late Entry
- Clients should aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before class (first time clients MUST).
- First time clients must arrive before the class start time, otherwise the instructor may turn them away due to setup and introduction time eating into the session.
- Doors are locked after 5 minutes of the class starting.
7. Health & Safety
- You must ensure you are fit to participate.
- You must inform instructors of any injuries or health conditions before each class.
- You agree to follow all instructions at all times.
7.1 Pregnancy Policy (Reformer Studio)
- Clients who are pregnant must inform the Studio prior to attending Reformer classes.
- 0–14 weeks:
- May attend regular Reformer classes.
- Pregnancy wedge is available but not required.
- From week 15 onwards:
- Must only attend classes that the Studio and its instructors deem suitable and are qualified to teach for later-stage pregnancy.
- Clients are expected to contact the Studio after week 14 to confirm suitable classes.
- A list of appropriate classes can be provided upon request.
- The Studio offers dedicated pre- and post-natal classes, which are strongly recommended.
- Pregnancy wedges:
- Required in all Reformer classes from week 15 onwards.
- Clients must follow all instructor guidance at all times when using Reformer equipment.
- The instructor reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a client from class if it is considered unsafe for the client or their pregnancy.
8. Studio Rules
- Grip socks are required for reformer classes.
- Phones must be silenced during class.
- Equipment must be used as instructed.
- Equipment must not be used without supervision.
Failure to comply may result in removal from class.
9. Memberships & Class Packs
- All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Class packs and memberships have a set expiry date and do not roll over unless explicitly stated.
- Extensions will only be granted at the sole discretion of the Studio.
10. Membership Billing
- Memberships operate on a recurring billing cycle.
- Payments will be automatically taken on the agreed billing date.
- It is the client’s responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available.
11. Membership Cancellation
- Memberships require 30 days’ written notice to cancel.
- If a scheduled payment falls within this 30-day notice period, it will be taken as the final payment.
- Your membership will remain active for that final billing period, allowing time to use your classes.
- No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
12. Failed Payments
If a payment fails, the Studio reserves the right to:
- Retry the payment
- Suspend access to bookings and classes
- Require outstanding balances to be cleared before further use
13. Payment Disputes
You agree to contact the Studio directly to resolve any payment issues before initiating a chargeback with your bank or provider.
14. Offers & Promotions
- Introductory offers and promotions are limited to one per person.
- Cannot be combined.
- Are non-transferable and non-refundable.
15. Refusal of Service
The Studio reserves the right to refuse or remove participation if:
- It is deemed unsafe
- You fail to follow instructions
- You are disruptive, unwell, or under the influence
Memberships may be suspended or terminated.
16. Conduct
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Immediate removal and/or banning may apply.
17. Hygiene & Environment
- Members must attend in clean, appropriate clothing.
- Equipment must be cleaned after use.
18. Personal Belongings
The Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
19. Changes to Services
The Studio reserves the right to:
- Amend class schedules
- Change instructors
- Cancel classes where necessary
20. Photography & Media
- The Studio may use images or videos for marketing.
- You may opt out by notifying the Studio via email.
21. Liability
Participation is at your own risk. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where prohibited by law.
22. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
23. Agreement
By booking or attending classes, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these terms
- You agree to comply with them
- You are 18 years or older
24. Updates to Terms & Conditions
The Studio reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being published or communicated. Continued use of the Studio’s services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
